Please join us for our next meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at State College of Florida Library & Learning Center, Bradenton, FL.

Our speaker Alicia Long will discuss multicultural and diverse literature for children and young adults and her ALA awards committee work. Alicia is a librarian and supervisor at State College of Florida, an ALA Spectrum Scholar and ALA Emerging Leader. She has a background in education, literacy, and storytelling. Alicia also teaches Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida's School of Information.
