Suncoast Information Specialists (SIS) is a professional association of librarians and information specialists in the greater Tampa Bay area, dedicated to providing an open forum for the discussion of mutual concerns and the exchange of ideas in the realm of information management and dissemination.

  • New Photos Photos from the August meeting at the St Petersburg Public LIbrary are available on the 2016-08-23 meeting page. The program was presented by members of the MacDill Puppy Raiser group of the Southeastern Guide Dogs organization. They participate in the Paws for Patriots program, which pair trained dogs with military veterans.

  • 30th Anniversary Celebration We are very excited to announce our upcoming 30th anniversary celebration! We hope all  who have made SIS such a long-running success will save the date for Friday, October 14th from 5:30-8:30pm at Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Library. Our speaker for the evening will be the Director of the Palm Harbor Library, Gene Coppola. All members, past, present, or future are welcome to attend! As always, guest as also welcome.
